HOMETOWN STRONG MARCH 2021
Hometown Strong is a way for GTS as therapists and member of community to give back to the communities that we love and live in. Each month employees of GTS donates a portion of their paycheck and GTS rounds that amount up to make a donation to a local charity. Each staff member that donates to this fund is entered into a drawing and once per month we draw a staff member name.
Carol Martens, OTR/L chose Relay for Life and the Children’s Shelter in Walnut Ridge to receive $500 each.

The Children’s Shelter
The Children’s Shelter mission is to provide an atmosphere of safety and comfort for children who have been displaced from their homes through no fault of their own.
- Victims of family violence
- Victims of neglect
- Victims of physical abuse
- Victims of sexual abuse
- Providing them with an immediate, safe environment
- Providing them with a caring, stable environment until a suitable relative or foster care becomes available
