Missy graduated from Northeast Louisiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. She has been practicing therapy in Mountain Home since 1991. She is married to her husband Keith Smyth and they have 2 daughters, Jennifer and Stacy, and 4 grandchildren, Elizabeth, Sam, Levi, and Kyle.
